For the Raiders in the past year and a half, it’s been as much about building and developing the club away from the court, as it is on it.

Why do companies sponsor us?

Top of the list of most sponsor's requirements is media coverage. Raiders home games, sponsor promotions and press conference create opportunities for exciting newspaper photographs and television images showing sponsor logos on shirts or banners. Such exposure creates brand familiarity for consumers making the logo stand out from their competitors.

We have unrivalled coverage in the press in the BBL. Local newspapers, radio and TV stations have helped build the Raiders brand to the position we enjoy today. We talk to the media virtually every day and have new stories for them to keep us in front of the public as much as possible. We also have our highly successful website, visited by thousands of people every month, and this allows us to give sponsors and advertisers even more exposure.

Sponsors enjoy being associated with Raiders home games which are well known across the region for being good value for money and an excellent night/afternoon out for the whole family. From toddlers, to school children, students and young professionals through to adults and senior citizens, our crowds are made up with every target audience that a sponsor could wish to appeal to.

Increasingly however, companies are looking to our games as an excellent and relatively inexpensive way to lay on corporate hospitality, either for their clients and customers or their employees. Discounts are available to companies on purchases of group tickets, and the relaxed and fun atmosphere lends itself well to hospitality.

The Raiders’ Business Club is available at all home games for the use of all sponsors and advertisers and their guests.
