Raiders extend Early
Bird deadline on Season Tickets
Thursday, April,
30, 2009
The
Airwaves Plymouth Raiders are delighted to announce the extension of
the Season Ticket Early Bird deadline. As a reward to the fans for
the club having reached their second successive BBL Finals Weekend,
the Raiders are giving fans the chance to buy season tickets at a
reduced rate for a further two weeks.
Already, the club have sold the same number of season tickets for
next year that they had for the whole of this season. Attendances at
Raiders home games this season have rocketed for the second straight
year. In 2007/08 attendances went up by 25% and have again risen
this year by a further 20%, bucking the national trend of
attendances falling.
“We
haven’t even reached the end of this season yet, and fans have
responded in a big way,” said Raiders Chief Executive Dave Briggs.
“A lot of fans took advantage of the superb prices of season tickets
in the Super Early Bird promotion, and our Early Bird special was
due to run out on Sunday. But as a reward and a bit of a thank you
to all our fans for their support this year, w e have decided to
extend this by two weeks, so this will now finish on Sunday 17th
May.”
