If we can get a couple of wins now, it helps push us back into contention for the playoffs again. We need the fans’ support now more than ever.” The Raiders’ next few games are all against teams in contention for the playoffs. Throughout February, they play Worcester, Essex, Cheshire, Leicester, London and Guildford. “If we can win the majority of those games, we’re right back in the race for the playoffs,” said Raiders’ Chairman Bob Widdecombe. It’s vital that we get back on winning track now and get some momentum behind us for what will be a tough last couple of months.
