Ticket Prices FAQ
26th June 2007
How much are the season tickets?
Season tickets have been held at the same price again this
season. Adults will cost £165, Children and
concessions (students, OAPs etc) will cost £121 and a family
ticket will cost £550 (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult
and 3 children). These represent huge savings for fans
over buying individual game tickets. Taking into
account the price of purchasing individual tickets, buying a
season ticket will give you 11 games free over the course of
a season (at Adult prices). An adult saves £135, a
child saves £29, and a family ticket saves a massive £200.
How can I
pay for my ticket?
You can pay for your ticket at the Pavilions using cash or cards.
Will I really get in to see
25 games?
Until the fixtures are
released (week beginning 2nd July) we can’t tell fans any
other information than, yes, we hope there will be 25 home games
during the season. More will become apparent as soon as the
fixtures are released.
Are seats
allocated on a first-come first-served basis?
The seats will be sold in three distinct groups. To begin
with, last years’ season ticket holders will be able to buy their
tickets from Monday 2nd July. Official Raiders
Supporters’ Club members will then be able to buy tickets from
Monday July 9th. Finally, season tickets go on
general release from Thursday July 12th onwards.
If
you had a season ticket last year and want to keep the same seats
this year, this should be ok, as long as you buy them before tickets
go on wider release.
Can I
book seats anywhere in the arena?
Apart from areas that are reserved by the club for corporate
seating, yes, you can book any other seats in the arena.
Is it
true that I get other benefits?
Yes, we really want to give something back to the fans for your
loyalty and support. Therefore, this season fans will receive
the following:
 |
A free
Plymouth Raiders T-shirt |
 |
Free
entry into a season ticket holder’s draw for a framed
players shirt at the end of the season |
 |
Free
entry to all development games at the YMCA Kitto Centre
(you
have to take your season ticket with you) |
 |
First purchase
option for all BBL Finals tickets |
What
other ticketing initiatives are you planning?
We hope to be able to release details of these in due course.
We are in the middle of talks with different organisations around
the city to get discounts off of entry. We will also be
releasing information about birthday party packages.
Aren’t
you just trying to get more money out of the fans by putting up the
price of individual tickets?
Not at all, and we want fans to know that putting the price up was
not an easy decision to make. Under our current budget, we
realised that we have probably gone as far as we can go in terms of
results and league position.
Plymouth Raiders
aren’t satisfied with where we have got to – we want to push ahead,
be in contention for trophies more regularly and bring you even
better quality basketball. This unfortunately costs more
money. We hope that when you see the team that Coach Stronach
is putting together, you will agree that the extra £2 per game for
an adult is worth it. C oncessions and Children’s individual prices
have remained the same at £6. A bigger wage bill has to be
paid for somehow and hopefully a price rise now will mean we wont
have to increase it again next season.
