Get your season tickets now!

2007
Kularoos Plymouth Raiders are encouraging fans to call and
book their season tickets at the Pavilions as soon as they can to
avoid disappointment, with the tickets going on general
release to the public tomorrow (July 12th). The
Plymouth Pavilions box office started taking orders for tickets on July
2nd with previous season ticket holders having
first option on the seats. The official supporters club was
then given a few days to purchase tickets, but on Thursday
this week, anyone can call and book their seats for the whole
of next season.
“Speaking to the Pavilions, they’ve confirmed that sales of the
tickets have been fantastic so far,” says Raiders Chief Executive
Dave Briggs. “It seems as though virtually everyone who bought
tickets last year, has bought them for this year again, and they
haven’t even gone on general release yet. We’re fast approaching our
target figure of sales for season tickets, which is great news and
means Coach Stronach can go out and put together an even stronger
team.”
Prices are being held at the same level as last year, and represent
a huge saving and a fantastic deal. At £165 for an adult, and £121
for concessions, season ticket holders are guaranteed entry to 25
games including all friendlies, league, cup and trophy and any
playoff games. If fans were to buy tickets for all 25 games
individually, they’d end up paying £300 for an adult ticket, so with
the £135 saving from buying a season ticket, it means that
effectively, fans get free entry to 11 home games.
For
the first time, season ticket holders will be given some added
incentives this year, with entry to an exclusive competition, a free
Raiders t-shirt, free entry to all development team home games, and
the first purchase option for BBL finals tickets.
Raiders Chairman Bob Widdecombe confirmed that the club was
delighted with the sales so far. “We were delighted when we heard
the figure given to us by the Pavilions. To have such support and
loyalty from our fans means a lot, and we hope that when the tickets
go on general release tomorrow, even more fans take advantage of the
fantastic deal that’s on offer to them.”
Briggs added that the re-signing of star forward Terrence Durham had
resulted in a swell of excitement around the club. “I came into the
office early this morning and was met with email after email and an
answer machine full of messages of support and congratulations for
getting Terrence back to the Raiders. Coach has done a superb job
with recruitment, and there are more signings in the pipeline this
week.”
