Half Season Ticket goes on sale
14th December 2007

The Kularoos Plymouth Raiders are offering their fans the opportunity of picking up a fantastic Christmas present – a Half Season Ticket. Despite attendance being up 25% on this time last year, the Raiders are keen to offer their fans a chance to pick up a real bargain, and hopefully pack the Pavilions out for each of the remaining 12 home games.

Prices for the Half Season Ticket represent a big saving on normal ticket prices:

  • Adults: £90 (saving of £54)

  • Children/Concessions: £66 (saving of £6)

  • Family: £294 (saving of £136)

“Our fans this year have been fantastic,” said Raiders Chief Executive Dave Briggs. “At the start of the season, we set out to give them real value for money, and we blew our target for full season tickets out of the water. It’s approaching Christmas, we’ve got half the season to go, and we want to give fans who couldn’t afford a season ticket in September, the chance to get a real bargain for the last 12 games.”

The Raiders have had their best half season to date and currently sit in 2nd place in the BBL, just two points behind 1st. The team have recently returned to full strength with Gavin Love returning from ankle rehab, and look set to challenge hard for top spot and the BBL Trophy in 2008.

“We’ve played some great basketball, but as Gary Stronach says, we’re not yet the finished article,” added Briggs. “We always play our best basketball in the second half of the season, so anyone that’s considering coming to a lot of our games in the 2nd half of the season, would be better off getting hold of one of the new Half Season Tickets.”

Anyone wanting to purchase a Half Season Ticket, should call the Plymouth Pavilions Box Office on 0845 1461460 or call in and buy one in person. The offer is open until Friday January 4th.

“We look forward to welcoming even more people to our games in 2008,” said Briggs. “We’ve got some huge games coming up at home, and we’d love as much support from fans as possible. The Plymouth fans are awesome, they’ve never let us down.”
