Statement from Bob Widdecombe, Chairman of Plymouth Raiders.

Plymouth Raiders have received the decision from England Basketball and following an emergency board meeting, have implemented the ban.  Plymouth Raiders have a strict anti racism policy and do not condone any breach of that policy or form of discrimination.

Also at the meeting, David Clift was appointed as the Raiders 2 coach.  He took charge of the team on Saturday and the team came away with an exciting 2 point win against Kent Crusaders.

The club will make no further comment.
