Our
25th Anniversary, what a fantastic season
and what an exciting couple of months we have ahead
of us! But we don’t want to take our eye off
the ball for next season.
For the forthcoming 2008/2009 season we have tried
to simplify the procedure for purchasing season
tickets, with just one simple on-sale date and no
booking form! Although season tickets are
available to all Raiders fans from 10am Monday 17
March 2008, your existing seats will be held in
your name until 31 July 2008, at which point they
will be released for general sale.
Once again, season tickets provide excellent value
for all home league, cup and trophy games, as well
our great pre season friendlies!
The great news is that, for yet another season, the
price of a season ticket remains unchanged at £165
for adults, £121 for concessions and £550 for a
family (two adults and two children), as long as you
purchase your ticket before the end of April.
From Thursday 1 May 2008, the cost of a season
ticket will rise slightly to £205 for adults, the
child and concession price will remain at £121, and
the family ticket rises slightly to £580 (two adults
and two children).
Back by popular demand is the supporters’ t-shirt
which will be included in the price of your season
ticket, as well as additional benefits such as free
entry into all development games (including Raiders
II and Raiders Women’s games), free entry into the
end of season ‘Season Ticket Holders Only’ draw to
win a framed players kit and of course a first
purchase option on any BBL final tickets!
In
light of the fantastic news that the BBL have signed
a deal with Setanta television to broadcast live UK
basketball on satellite and cable, it is likely that
you’ll be seeing the TV cameras at the Raiderdome
more and more frequently. We are all hopeful that
the Setanta deal will be extended to next season as
well, but this does however mean that we regrettably
are unable to sell season tickets in the stage
seating area of the Arena; as during televised
games, we lose the whole stage to camera sites and
this would in turn result in us having to relocate
seats on a game-by-game basis.
To purchase your season tickets,
please simply call into the Pavilions Box Office
from 10am on Monday 17 March, or book over the
telephone on 0845 146 1460.
Individual 2008/2009 game day tickets will remain
the same costing £12 for adults, £6 for concessions
and £30 for families, so purchasing a season ticket
really does offer a fantastic saving!
