The UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders have struck up a sponsorship deal with one of Plymouth’s top restaurants. The Steak and Omelette Bar in Cornwall Street are sponsoring 6’10” American Paul Williams this season, and have been delighted with how well their player has performed so far.
With Williams’ performances so vital to the Raiders in 2011/12, the team has reached the BBL Cup Final, they’re sitting in 3rd place in the league and in the BBL Trophy Semi Final next week.
“It’s a great partnership!” said Raiders Chairman Bob Widdecombe. “Alex at the Steak and Omelette Bar has been hugely supportive of the team again this year – the third year in a row that he has sponsored one of our players, and with Paul’s dominance in games, he has been getting the restaurant some fantastic publicity!”
