Raiders made light work of Leeds Force following a 72 – 110 win, picking up their third win of the season over the leagues bottom club. It was only the second time this season Raiders have surpassed the 100 point mark beating their previous best of 103 against Manchester at the Pavilions earlier in the season. It was also their best defensive performance, with only two teams previously scoring 75 points or less against the Raiders, league champions Leicester Riders and current second placed side Newcastle Eagles.
A 17 – 17 first quarter, in which Leeds took the lead by seven at one point, was as close as the game got with Raiders winning the second quarter by 14 points to hold a decent 31 – 45 lead.
Raiders caught fire in the first 10 minutes of the second half, taking complete control of the game following a 38 point quarter and limiting Leeds to 14 points again. Seven 3-pointers were scored by the visitors which included four from Louis Sayers to give them a 45 – 83 lead.
With the game already won, Raiders took their foot off the gas in the final quarter with both sides scoring 27 points but ultimately took a 38 point win, 72 – 110.
Six players hit double figures for the Raiders with American guards Tre Bowman and Eric Eaves leading the way on 24. Joonas Järveläinen (18), Eddie Matthew (15 – five 3-pointers), Sayers (14) and Denzel Ubiaro (11) also hit double figures.
