“I can’t wait to get started in a Raiders shirt”

6ft 8in Forward, Bradley Newton-Clark is the latest addition to Raiders for the 2023/24 season. Bradley played local league for 5 years before testing himself at fellow NBL 3 side, Exeter Spartans in the 22/23 campaign.

Having played together last season, Bradley and Head Coach need no introduction. This is what Coach Laws had to say on his newest recruit “Last season I played alongside Brad, it was great to see him develop from a first year Rookie in National League to a dominant big man.”

“Brads dedication and work ethic has seen him go from strength to strength and become a formidable force in the middle.”

“Standing at 6’8” he brings size and athleticism to the squad, combined with thirst first for knowledge and development. I expect huge strides this year for him.”

“A gentlemen off the court and a team favourite amongst the players, Brad will undoubtably help the Raiders throughout the season and will be a staple figure in the future of the club.”

Ahead of joining up with his former team mate and now head coach Bradley added “For me, being a part of the Plymouth Raiders means beginning a new chapter in my basketball development.”

“I have the opportunity to work with more experienced players and gain a new insight to how the game can be played. It means being part of a big family that will have each others back all season.”

“I believe I can bring multiple positive attributes to the club. A few of these include; my passion to develop as a player and a person, my enthusiasm to keep the team morale heightened throughout critical points of the season and the ability to be the trusted player that everyone can rely on.”
