Tom Elliott-Smith is officially a Raider and the first signing under new head coach Gareth Laws. Tom, a former Junior Raider and U18’s England player has spent the majority of his career playing for US college side Caldwell, racking up 87 appearances and 216 points in his 4 year stretch in New Jersey.
On his first signing for the new look NBL division 3 side, head coach Gareth Laws said “Tom is a high calibre player with a top IQ, great fundamentals, explosive abilities and is a field danger on court.”
“He brings an intensity to the team that helps raise everyone else's game, he's a great player to be around, exciting to watch, has a willingness to listen and still has a passion to develop.”
“I'm looking forward to coaching Tom and getting the opportunity to play along side him. He will help the Raiders achieve great success this season and seasons to come.”
On his return to Plymouth, Tom Elliott-Smith said “Plymouth gave me my introduction to basketball, I want to provide a platform for kids like me to travel the world through basketball.”
