Lisa

Club Secretary

I first became involved in Plymouth basketball when my son started to play for Plymouth Raiders Development after having been a fan and watching Plymouth Raiders at Plymouth Pavilions.

Through my son's involvement in the sport, it opened doors for me to become involved too. I'm currently a Plymouth & District Basketball League committee member, undertaking the role of Treasurer. I am also a level two table official. I have just sat my level three exam and I'm currently awaiting my results.

Through basketball I have met some great people, who I'm now lucky enough to call friends. Basketball to me is about community and relationships, which is exactly what an organisation like the Plymouth Raiders stands for. It is great that Plymouth Raiders Basketball Club is back and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be involved. I feel there has been something missing around Plymouth basketball in the last 18 months and cannot wait for the season to start.

Meet the legends

Celebrating those who have worn the famous green jersey. Thank you to each and every one, from Plymouth to Pennsylvania or Newton Abbot to New York, we’ve celebrated as team mates and made friendships to last a lifetime. Once a Raider, always a Raider.
