Game Day Co-ordinator

I live and breathe basketball and have for over 26 years since I picked up the game as a 14-year-old. I expanded my game via Tamar Valley Cannons development programme and later became Plymouth Raiders U18s Captain, My personal highlight was playing in an overtime game at the Pavilions.

When my knees allow it, I still try to play recreationally and may give it one last P&D season before I hang up my boots. My new passion is coaching where I hold my level 2 coaching qualification and am committed to giving back to the next generation as well as growing the women’s game.

I currently coach kids aged 7-14, and a women’s team for Unity Through Basketball & U18 National League Juniors with Plymouth Basketball Club, all of which is very rewarding.

You may catch me courtside sporting a different array of Air Jordan basketball retro sneakers, I have approx 200 pairs.

Also a BIG NBA Fan and have supported the Toronto Raptors since they began in 1995, I have been fortunate enough to travel to watch them play in numerous games and was fantastic to see them win in 2019.

Raiders will always be my local team after so many fond memories dating back to the 90s where my whole family including my gran would attend games including the Wembley Playoff Final Win and cheering on great players Jimmy ‘Mac’ McGilvery, Daniel Okonkwo, Ray Blackwell, Todd Cetnar and Gareth Laws.

Absolute pleasure assisting Raiders in their 40th year in what is my 40th year too. This will be a great year for Plymouth Basketball, and this is only the start.
